THE SQUID SID

Contexto de la actividad.       

Con niñ@s de 3-4 años. Debido a que aunque sea un cuento repetitivo, se hace larga la historia para niños más pequeños pueden llegar a perder la atención.

Esta actividad es el cuento del “ the squid Sid”

Objetivos de la actividad    

Ø  Conocer el cuento.

Ø  Adquirir un vocabulario básico relacionado con  “Los animales marinos”.

Ø  Fomentar una actitud positiva hacia la lengua extranjera.

Ø  Mostrar interés y disfrute por participar en intercambios comunicativos.

Temporalización de la actividad    

Esta actividad estaría ubicada en la UPI ”El fondo del mar”, que se realizaría durante un mes. Siendo esta actividad la primera sesión de la UPI. Esta actividad se llevaría a cabo en el aula, aunque se platearía una excursión a Faunia.

Letra del cuenco 

One day, the squid Sid was swimming in the huge ocean, when suddenly he saw something shining very much so he decided to move closer to see what was that shone so much he had such bad luck, that he slipped one leg in the can.

The squid Sid tried to remove the leg from the can swimming really fast up and down, but he alone couldn´t remove that can. Suddenly he had an idea: “ I had to seek help from my friend the octopus Fuss. ¡octopus Fuss! ¡octopus Fuss! Where are you?

Hello squid Sid. What happens that you call me crying? Oooo What do you have in your leg!

A can and I can´t remove me, I wanted to ask if you could help me. Since you have many legs.

Suddenly an idea came to his mind ¡clin! Squid Sid. I will ask crac Ahab. And sure with his tweezers he will. Ahab is very naugthty I´ll look for him.

Ahab, Ahab ,Ahab where are you?

Because I want to ask if you could use me your tweezers to remove the can.

Of course my tweezers are strong iaa iaa iaa (jadeo) I´m sorry squid Sid. I can´t it´s very hard.

Squid Sid didn´t know who ask for help when suddenly he thought “ I need someone big and strong”. A great idea to his mind. I´ll call my friend Lark the shark. Can you help me to call him? Lark Lark.

Lark can you hel me? I have a cam in the leg and no one can take it away. And with your teeth I hape inmediately. Right away the can is removed.

Metodología         

Ø  Utilizaremos las siguientes estrategias metodológicas:

Ø  Utilizaremos los gestos y las imágenes como herramienta destacada, con el fin de que se cree un proceso de aprendizaje y comunicación.

Ø  Usaremos palabras similares a las de la lengua materna para reforzar de manera positiva: fantastic, perfect…etc.

Ø  Aprovecharemos la asamblea como lugar de expresión y participación por parte de l@s niñ@s.

Ø  Mantendremos un equilibrio entre las actividades relajantes y las de movimiento.

Nuestra sesión estará dividida en varios bloques:

Presentación: Durante la asamblea aparecerá un personaje del cuento para contarnos que vamos hacer.

Taller: Donde los niñ@s partirán de algo individual para construir algo colectivo.

Juego: Realizaremos una actividad de movimiento con el fin de movilizar al grupo.

Despedida: El personaje se marchara, pero nos prometerá que otro amigo suyo vendrá.

Actividades Les contaremos el cuento “ the squid Sid” en el cuál l@s niñ@s nos ayudaran a llamar al tiburón y al finalizar la actividad se le dejara que manipulen los diferentes personajes.

Nuestro fondo del mar: Tendremos un papel continuo blanco en el cual a través de técnicas con esponjas pintaran el fondo del mar y luego los animales serán pintados con dáctilo pintura.
